Card Condition Guide

Every raw single on Holo Raccoon is graded by eye under good light before it is listed. Here is what each condition means for us.

Near Mint (NM)

Looks fresh from the pack. At most a tiny speck of edge wear or a faint surface line you need to tilt the card to see. No creases, bends or dents.

Lightly Played (LP)

Light whitening on a few edges or corners, or minor surface scratches. Still looks great in a binder or sleeve. We point out the flaw in the description and photos.

Moderately Played (MP)

Clear edge and corner wear, scuffing or a light crease. Priced well below Near Mint.

Graded slabs (CGC, PSA, BGS)

Graded cards are sold exactly as slabbed by the grading company. The grade on the label is theirs, not ours. Check the certification number on the grader's website if you like.

Centering

Centering is not part of our condition grade. If a card is noticeably off-center, we mention it.

Japanese cards

Japanese cards are marked "(Japanese)" in the title and follow the same condition scale.
